Space Shuttle COLOMBIA (The First Space-rated Orbiter in NASA'S Space Shuttle Fleet)

After about 22 Years of successful service, On Feb. 1, 2003, space shuttle Columbia broke up as it returned to Earth. It was the end of his 28th Space Mission. In result of this Shocking incident all the Seven astronauts on board were Killed. 

NASA suspended space shuttle flights for more than two years as it investigated the disaster.

The Disaster is a most Tragic Event in the SPACE & NASA history. After this loss of 7 lives, the NASA decided to suspend its space shuttle program for over a period of about 2 years. 

"Colombia Accident Investigation Board" was formed to investigate the reasons of this horrific disaster.
